I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 1997, and after several years of study and further work in this area, I was awarded my General Practitioner certificate in 2011 by Improve International and the European School of Postgraduate Veterinary Studies, and subsequently was awarded the Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Ophthalmology in 2016 by Harper Adams University, followed by being awarded Advanced Practitioner Status by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2016.
OphthoVet Ltd allows practices in Central Scotland to call on the services of an experienced Ophthalmologist to come to your clinic, and see your clients avoiding the need for referral in many cases. I am now using the new Omnigen clear graft developed by ophthalmologists at the University of Nottingham to improve the vision for Scotland's pets. See the BBC clip on this amazing new graft here!
Digital video and still retinal imaging now available, with additional client copies available. *additional fees apply
Appointments are also available with me at your own veterinary practice by arrangement and I hold regular clinics at at Taylors Vets in Cathkin, Bute and Cowal Vets in Dunoon and Rothesay, Polmont Vet Clinic near Falkirk, or at any other practice by request. Contact me by email or on 07725750848 for an appointment.
Please get in touch for further details or for a chat about I can help you.
